Choosing a Justice of the Peace for your wedding is personal. There are many qualities you can consider when making your decision. Justices have experiences, education, and interests that will give you insight into their suitability to be your Justice of the Peace. Philosophy: You are my reason for being a Justice of the Peace. I am here to serve you and will not turn anyone away. It is my desire to work enthusiastically to help you create a wedding ceremony that you will cherish and remember for a lifetime. I value your ideas and your unique sense about how things should be done. I will help you create a ceremony that reflects your innermost thoughts and feelings and will insure that your ceremony is perfect for the two of you. Experience: I was appointed as a Justice of the Peace by the Governor in the State of Massachusetts. I have officiated at hundreds of weddings throughout the State from the most simple and intimate to the most elegantly extravagant. Education: Besides my JP appointment, my education includes an undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Psychology, a Master's Degree in Education, a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy, and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker. Interests: I sit on the Board of Trustees of the Springfield Symphony Orchestra and on the Advisory council for the International Center for the Study of Psychiatry and Psychology. I am a co-founder of the Young Artist's Piano Competition, which gives young gifted pianists an opportunity to receive scholarships to continue their musical education. My interests include music and writing and I have recently co-published a book which includes my poetry. I look forward to meeting you. |
